i witnessed these streets

eat pensioners whole

left the abused more vulnerable

the homeless left searching for warmth

in the bitter cold

shamed and blamed

in a country 

fuelled by rage

which goes from fine-dining and richness

to youth homelessness

and a shit poor wage

thoughts focused on an increase in salary

working 12 hours a day

fucking up people's mentality

developed psychosis

increased anxiety

how can we see straight?

- blame

see strangers crumble at the thought of living

suicidal thoughts in every vision

i tremble each night

feel the pain of every passer by

how sad must we feel

to want to die

i despise this division

between the rich and the poor

most times if you aren't born into
