numbness and connection

are shades painted within the same spectrum

disassociated from reality

yet paying close attention 

conforming to this selfie-system

we are hypersensitive souls

searching for hope and wisdom 

on a platform that does not exist

this land is judged 

through the pursuit of status

a status measured through oppression and hatred

our voices should be heard
