Capsized Dreams
these young souls
craving mothership -
a place they can call home
face plastered with sadness
suffocating in their lonesome dome
aching for loving affection
that they will never find alone
as there dreams collapse into dust
who to cradle when they have been disowned?
how can one dismantle such neglect
when they are abused
by those employed to protect them
these poor young souls
searching for warmth in the bitter cold
this land is not a safe space
lock the doors and put on your blind-fold
Fleischhack, J. (2020) 'Let the roots grow' |
fountains pour through his eyes
as he is believed to think for so many years
that this relationship is worthwhile
you see the thing is with grooming
is that you can never see through it
as pure and dense and real as it presents
when you have nobody else
the truth begins to self-torment
there is a foul smell lingering here
as you take what you want
without any fear of judgement
you took what you wanted
and spat it back out
how do you feel now?
while this child lives with self-doubt
until justice is served
i will remain in this syndicate
until i know you are living as a life worth living
i will wait
-how can you hurt a child
