explain the term 'unity'

trapped in a cage of constant uncertainty

trying to escape without avoiding reality

i can feel this shift away from nature

to big business

injustice 

insanity

it's all about luck nowadays

throw morals and kindness out the door

the focus is money

i'd rather be sincere and poor

i'm unhappy with the way that things are

get a job

have kids

marriage and a car

as a child despite the pain

i felt unity

a sense of community

now it's all insane

i watch strangers on the train

staring at their phones

instead of looking at the beauty

through the window pane

wait, then i do it myself

it's hard to explain

will there ever be a day

when the world will be okay?

there are no new beginnings

until we change 

smile at a stranger

connect 

unify

love
